With all cons of Blog Outsourcing listed, let us discuss Pros of this new concept. Blogging in current state is just a tip of the iceberg. Best is yet to come. This new concept will be a boon for small and medium businesses. By outsourcing the blogging process, these companies can achieve what their larger counterparts have achieved with blogs.
Blogs give small and medium companies a Voice
Internet is a newest and most effective way to disseminate information. Small and medium companies can use the Blogging platform via Blog Outsourcing company, to respond quickly and effectively to customer concerns and complaints. It is an efficient way to announce recalls and post warnings.
Blogs helps in marketing products and services
Blogs are placed higher in Search Engine results. Small and medium companies, with the help of Blog outsourcing company, carefully select keywords, so that the Blog is easily found by consumers. This way they can market their products and services, while addressing customer complaints, provide tips and tutorials to educate consumers.
All these tasks can be performed by a normal website so why have a company blog that is outsourced to another company? Before I answer this question, let me repeat a fact I earlier stated:
Blogs are ranked higher by Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN.
This is one of the most important reasons of having a company blog. Freshness and quality of the content is what brings people to a website. A Blog, being an online journal, is largely kept fresh by the person who writes it. When this process is outsourced, keeping the content fresh and constantly updated. This helps in ranking the blog higher and bringing more traffic to the site.
Next obvious question is, how does high ranking help a company? What does high traffic do for the company?
More than 80% of web users start with a search engine to find what they want. This underlines the need of getting the company site at the top of a relevant search results list. The company will not only get plenty of targeted traffic, but users will also feel positive towards the business because they’ve actually found something relevant.
Apart from addressing issues of consumers, the company blog will be used to popularize the product / service, the company provides. Tips and tutorials about the product will make it easier for consumers to use the product, so chance of buying that product is higher. This blog (Ideologic’s own blog) is a classic example of the company blog, tooting its own horn about the services it intends to provide.
Adding a blog to the company website, enhances the marketing, ranks company website higher, makes customer experience rich, useful and fruitful.

Blogs give small and medium companies a Voice
- Not really. If the blogger speaks purely with the company voice then he/she is a paid shill and nobody will ever listen.
Blogs helps in marketing products and services
- Agreed. But this is hardly the only way to spend marketing dollars.
Blogs are ranked higher by Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN.
- Yes - but the company would like its own site to rise in the rankings instead of paying to get the blogger’s site a high rank.
Sk,
Do read my next post about Blogger Code of Ethics in the world of Blog Process Outsourcing. That should answer your first point.
About your second point, I never said, it is the only way to spend marketing dollars. It is certainly one way to spend marketing dollars and get maximum advantage from it.
Third point is totally misunderstood by you. Blog will be an integral part of company website, so company gets all the benefits. My blog is embedded with my company’s website.
