Introduction
As promised, I have my first case study of a business, which is also my favorite tea store The Tea Smith. This store is very near to my office, so I often drive down to try out newest teas after lunch. Here you will find every possible variety of tea of the world. My personal favorite is Bubble Tea or Boba Ice Tea from Taiwan. It is prepared with tapioca pearls served in cold infused tea. After the tea and flavor are shaken well, some tapioca pearls float and others sink to the bottom of a clear cup. The tapioca pearls look like bubbles, thus known as “Bubble Tea.”. Various flavors are added to make one refreshing drink.
Current Website
Company: The Tea Smith
Website : http://www.theteasmith.com
Physical Location : 16920 Wright Plaza, Omaha, NE 68130
It is a neatly designed little website, providing description of teas and accessories, notification of events and past newsletters in Acrobat format. It is a typical small business website providing a reasonable presence to the business on World Wide Web. However it can be a real challenge to find the website on Google or any other search engine. A specialized search like “tea Omaha” on various search engines results a distant 45th position on MSN and 10th position on Alta Vista and Yahoo and not at all found on Google. It is very important for a business to be found on a search engine, especially when 80% of people search for product and services on a search engine.
Introduction of Blog on Current Website
A blog, apart from being a low cost way of improving search engine positioning, is an excellent way of gaining loyal tea connoisseurs. This can be done by describing one or two teas in a week on the company’s blog. Encourage comments from readers and answer their queries. Provide tips on preparing teas, promoting accessories and making the blog, an interactive community of tea-drinkers.
Benefits of the Blog for this Business
1. Better placement of the website with Search Engines, which improves the chances of website being found on Search Engines
2. Gaining customers by providing tips and description of specialty teas on the blog.
3. Providing Customer care and information, by answering their queries, increases chances of retaining loyal customers for life.
4. Tea–tasting and other events are better publicized, when published on the Company Blog.
How can Business Blog Process Outsourcing help?
Generally, a business owner has all the knowledge about the business he or she owns and is the best person to write Company blog. However, owner has a business to run and attend to different business chores, all at same time. This is where a Blog Process Outsourcing Company can help. They can setup and embed the blog within Company website. Subsequently, daily or weekly blog (depending on package selected) can be written describing the business, its services, and its products (in this case specialty Teas and related accessories). As a part of setup, blog details are submitted to various Blog Directories, making it easy to find on net. Blog is marketed, in various targeted forums. All this is done to ensure, Search engines pick up the blog page and show up on top whenever a search is performed on tea related keywords. Visitors to the blog can be tracked to provide some analysis on customer’s geographic profile.
